PSG's Dembele Wins 2025 Ballon d'Or, Beats Barcelona's Yamal

Paris Saint-Germain's forward, Dembele, clinched the 2025 Ballon d'Or after an outstanding season with 35 goals and 14 assists in 53 appearances. PSG secured a historic treble, including their first Champions League title.

Dembele was also the joint top scorer in Ligue 1 with 21 goals and named the Ligue 1 Champions League Player of the Year. The French international beat Barcelona's Lamine Yamal and received the Kopa Trophy for the best young player.

Notably, Liverpool's Mohamed Salah finished fourth, and last year's winner, Manchester City's Rodri, missed the shortlist. Dembele, who was sidelined due to injury, tearfully accepted the award in Paris.
