Despite Macroeconomic Headwinds, 15 Nigerian Companies Post N12.7tn Revenue in H1 2025

Despite facing macroeconomic challenges, 15 Nigerian companies, including Dangote Cement, MTN Nigeria, and Seplat Energy, collectively generated N12.7 trillion in revenue in the first half of 2025. This represents a significant increase from the previous year.

The companies span various sectors such as oil and gas, telecommunications, and consumer goods, showcasing the broad resilience of Nigeria's private sector. While some companies, like MTN Nigeria Communications Plc and Seplat Energy Plc, saw substantial revenue growth, others, like Oando Plc, experienced a decline.

Analysts attribute this resilience to the relative stability in the economy and positive impacts of reforms by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Despite challenges such as rising costs, companies in Nigeria are showing signs of recovery and improved business activity, indicating a promising outlook for the rest of 2025.
