Peter Obi Advocates Unity in Kaduna Stakeholder Meeting

Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and the Labour Party's presidential candidate, visited Kaduna State on Sunday to engage with stakeholders from the African Democratic Congress (ADC). During this meeting, he called for a shift away from money-driven politics and emphasized the importance of leadership based on competence.

Obi interacted with notable political figures, including Dr. Ahm Tijjani and Hope Lawal Adamu, who represents Kaduna Central.

He highlighted Kaduna's critical role in Nigeria's development trajectory, noting that the state once symbolized unity and economic strength driven by agriculture and commerce. Obi warned that divisions remain a significant barrier to progress and criticized the increasing influence of money in politics.

He expressed optimism that Nigeria could overcome its challenges with the right leadership and collective effort, urging stakeholders to contribute to national development.
