Ribadu Meets US Vice President to Discuss Security Cooperation

Nuhu Ribadu, a special adviser to the Nigerian President, conducted a three-day working visit to the United States from May 4 to May 6. During this visit, he met with senior officials of the U.S. government, including Vice President J.D.

Vance, National Security Advisor, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, among others. The discussions focused on enhancing security cooperation and ensuring the effective implementation of ongoing bilateral initiatives.

Bayo Onanuga, who accompanied Ribadu, highlighted the commitment to deepening bilateral relations and sustaining diplomatic dialogue between Nigeria and the United States. The meetings aimed to strengthen defense and security cooperation, reflecting a mutual commitment to addressing shared security challenges.
