DBN Launches MSME Data Hub to Drive Economic Growth

Development Bank Nigeria Plc (DBN) launched the country's first curated Data Asset platform in Abuja to enhance the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The platform aims to provide valuable insights into the MSME sector's contribution to employment, GDP growth, and funding gaps.

Dr. Tony Okpanachi, DBN's Managing Executive Officer, highlighted that the platform would empower policymakers and financial institutions with essential data for decision-making.

Key features include data centralization, enhanced accessibility, and improved reporting efficiency. The initiative underscores DBN's commitment to supporting MSMEs as drivers of economic growth in Nigeria by providing stakeholders with critical information to drive progress in the sector.
