Diamonds and Pearls Travels Ltd, co-founded by Mrs. Wonuola Olatunde-Lamidi and Mr.

David Olatunde-Lamidi, was awarded first runner-up in the bestselling holiday packages category at the first Kenya Airways Holiday Awards Nite held in Lagos. The airline presented the travel company with a Certificate of Recognition for its exceptional sales performance and collaboration throughout 2025.

The awards acknowledged Diamonds and Pearls' strong sales of holiday packages across Kenya Airways' destination network and its role in promoting tourism growth. The company has organized group trips to various destinations, including Qatar, Kenya, Singapore, Vietnam, Egypt, Europe, and Seychelles.

Mr. David Olatunde-Lamidi expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the trust clients place in their services.

During the event, Kenya Airways' Country Manager, Mr. James Nganga, reaffirmed the airline's commitment to the Nigerian market and announced plans to increase flight frequency to Lagos to six times weekly, promoting Kenya as a holiday and medical destination.
