Yan Diomande Agrees Terms with Real Madrid After PSG Exit

Yan Diomande, a 19-year-old winger from RB Leipzig, has agreed to personal terms with Real Madrid after Paris St-Germain (PSG) withdrew their interest in signing him. PSG had previously made an initial bid of £69 million in June, which was rejected, and later submitted a final bid of £102.5 million on Sunday, also rejected by RB Leipzig.

Real Madrid's agreement with Diomande is reportedly modeled on Jude Bellingham’s contract, with performance incentives that improve year-on-year. The transfer fee for Diomande is expected to exceed £100 million.

Diomande joined RB Leipzig from Spanish club Leganes last summer on a five-year deal. Real Madrid's key negotiators, Jose Angel and Juni Calafat, have been scouting Diomande for about five years.

Despite Leipzig's efforts to retain the player, they recognize the extraordinary interest from elite European clubs, making it difficult to reject such offers. Diomande was named the Bundesliga’s young player of the season for 2025-26, scoring 12 goals and providing eight assists.
