Dolphin Swimming League Honors Athletes on May 30

The Dolphin Swimming League is set to hold its Award Day on May 30 at St. Saviour's School in Ikoyi, Lagos, recognizing outstanding athletes and schools from its seventh season.

This tournament, which has become a significant event in Nigeria's inter-school swimming calendar, began with fewer than five schools and has now expanded to include 20 schools from Lagos and Ogun State. The event is sanctioned by the Nigeria Aquatic Federation, the Nigeria Olympic Committee, and the Nigeria School Sport Federation, organized in collaboration with Dynaspro Sport and Advanta Interact Limited, with support from the Lagos State Swim Association.

Tournament coordinator Oluseyi Oyebod noted that this year's ceremony is particularly special, as several league participants have become permanent members of Nigeria's junior national team. The league aims to continue raising the bar and uncovering new talent, with the support of parents and sponsors like Rite Food, whose contributions have been invaluable.
