Doma United, Sporting Lagos Win in NNL Super 4 Opener

The NNL Super 4 commenced at Remo Star Stadium in Ogun State, where Doma United and Sporting Lagos achieved slim victories in their opening matches. Sporting Lagos recorded a 1-0 win against Ranchers Bees, with Alex Leme scoring the decisive goal in the 40th minute from a cross by Seun Akanji.

Despite Ranchers Bees' efforts to equalize, Sporting Lagos maintained their lead until the final whistle. In the second match, Doma United also won 1-0 against Inter Lagos, with Yusuf Fantami netting the goal in the 20th minute.

Coach Ahmad of Ranchers Bees attributed his team's loss to fatigue, noting their late arrival from Kaduna and highlighting the inexperience of his mostly young squad. He expressed optimism for their upcoming match against Inter Lagos on Wednesday.
