Leeds United Signs Nigerian Defender Leonard Ngenge from Remo Stars

Leeds United, a Premier League club, has completed the signing of Nigerian defender Leonard Ngenge from Remo Stars, a Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champion. Ngenge, a former Rangers player, has penned a deal with Leeds United until the conclusion of the 2026/27 season.

The center-back, who made seven appearances for Remo Stars in the previous season, is also part of the home-based Super Eagles squad. Ngenge has represented Nigeria in the 2024 African Nations Championship, making two appearances for his country.
