Kenneth Okonkwo Warns Nigerians Against APC's Actions

Kenneth Okonkwo, a Nollywood actor and politician, warned Nigerians not to be misled by the actions of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in light of their recent electoral success in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) area council elections, where they won five out of six councils. In an interview with Arise Television, Okonkwo questioned the delay in releasing the gazette of the Electoral Act 2026, suggesting it could be a tactic by the APC.

He also recalled a recent assassination attempt on Peter Obi, the Labour Party's presidential candidate, who was attacked by gunmen in Edo State. Okonkwo mentioned previous threats made by the incumbent Edo State governor against Obi, warning him not to enter the state without clearance.

His remarks come amid ongoing political tensions and concerns about electoral integrity in Nigeria.
