Wike Urges Coordinators to Deliver Votes for Tinubu

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, cautioned campaign coordinators during the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja that they must deliver electoral support in their assigned states for President Bola Tinubu. He stated that failure to win their states would mean they cannot claim victory if Tinubu wins nationally.

Wike, who is the coordinator for Rivers State and the FCT, emphasized that officials should be judged by their contributions and not just by their titles. He pledged to secure substantial support for Tinubu in both territories, asserting that his leadership would ensure a massive vote for the President.

Wike also claimed to be the sole leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and defended his support for Tinubu, stating that democracy allows for acknowledgment of effective governance regardless of party affiliation. He praised Tinubu's political will to address national issues, including the establishment of state police.
