Kebbi First Lady Urges Parents to Ensure Education for Rescued Schoolgirls

The First Lady of Kebbi State, Hajiya Zainab Idri, appealed to parents not to withdraw their children from school after the recent abduction of 24 students from GGCSS Maga Danko. The girls were rescued unharmed after nine days.

Governor Nasir Idri commended the security personnel for the prompt rescue. Halimatu Band, a commission of basic and secondary education, expressed gratitude for the support in the rescue efforts.

The incident occurred in Anka Local Government, Zamfara State.
