Adeboye Warns Men: Don't Marry Women Who Can't Cook

He emphasized that marriage decisions should not be based solely on physical attraction or societal pressures, as these can lead to long-term regret.

Adeboye described such choices as potentially deep traps, urging men to practice discernment and prioritize home skills. He referenced biblical figures to reinforce his stance on modesty and authenticity.

Adeboye also warned against the financial burdens that can arise from marrying someone who does not contribute to household skills, advising men to consider the implications of extravagant wedding ceremonies and excessive cosmetic use. This advice echoes similar sentiments he expressed in a 2016 video that gained traction on social media, where he stated that a woman who cannot cook will not make a good wife.
