Gov Eno Warns New Chairman Against Power Struggles

Governor Eno of Akwa Ibom State cautioned the new Chairman, Udofia, against attempting to claim ownership of structures under his administration during Udofia's swearing-in ceremony. The governor emphasized the importance of avoiding political power struggles and urged Udofia to work collaboratively within the existing administrative framework.

The event, held at the Abak Local Government Chambers, marked the 38th anniversary of the state's creation. Traditional rulers, including HRM Okuibom Ibibio III and HRM Odidem Bassey Etim Edet, commended Governor Eno for his support of the traditional institutions and pledged continued cooperation to advance the state's development efforts.
