NPFL Players Commended for Passing Drug Tests - Clean Bill of Health

Otunba Gbenga Elegbeleye, Chairman of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), praised NPFL players for passing random drug tests conducted by the National Anti-Doping Committee (NADC). The NADC tested 32 urine samples from randomly selected matches, all of which came back negative for prohibited substances.

Elegbeleye commended the players for staying clean and maintaining the integrity of football. The NPFL and NADC aim to continue drug testing in the upcoming season to uphold the league's reputation and keep the sport clean.

Deputy Drug Testing Officer, Odo Raphael Okafor, emphasized the importance of maintaining a drug-free environment in football to enhance the league's credibility.
