Pastor Chris Okafor Retracts Apology to Doris Ogala

Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Mountain Liberties Miracle Ministry, has retracted a public apology he made to Doris Ogala concerning her allegations of a seven-year secret relationship. The apology was initially issued during a church service but was later withdrawn, with Okafor citing immense pressure from people he described as friends.

He clarified that the apology was not directed at Ogala but was intended to prevent dragging the church into controversy. Okafor emphasized that he would not admit to any allegations against him and stated that the matter would be handled through the legal system.

The controversy began last year when a video surfaced online of Okafor's engagement to Pearl Okafor, following Ogala's claims that she had a romantic relationship with him since 2017, which she alleged ended her previous marriage. Despite her claims and demands for N1 billion in damages for breach of promise, Okafor proceeded with his marriage to Pearl, which included traditional and white wedding ceremonies.
