APC Bars Seven Aspirants from Osun Primary; PDP Names Governorship Candidate

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has barred seven prominent aspirants, such as Senator Iyiola Omisore, from participating in the Osun primary elections scheduled for December 13, 2025. The screening committee disqualified aspirants who failed to meet the mandatory sponsorship requirements.

Meanwhile, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has named Adebayo Adedamola as its governorship candidate for the upcoming elections in Osun.
