NDLEA Warns Against Illegal Drug Parties in Lagos, Arrests Club Owner

The NDLEA has issued a stern warning against illegal drug parties following a raid on a nightclub in Lagos, where over 100 attendees, including club owner Mike Ez Nwali, were arrested. The agency highlighted the risks associated with drug abuse and the promotion of illicit substances at such events.

NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi reiterated that organizing, promoting, and attending drug parties constitute serious criminal offenses. The operation in Lagos led to the seizure of a significant amount of drugs, including cannabis.

The agency aims to curb drug abuse and safeguard public health and security.
