DSS Arraigns Sowore on Cybercrime Charges Over Tinubu Tweet

The Department of State Services (DSS) has arraigned activist and politician, Sowore, on cybercrime charges for a tweet about Bola Tinubu. Sowore pleaded not guilty and was granted bail by Justice Moham Umar in Abuja.

The DSS accused Sowore of defaming Tinubu and violating cybercrime laws. Sowore, a former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), faces legal obstacles in the case.

The court warned Sowore against making statements that could jeopardize national peace and security.
