Duncan Mighty Rejected Burna Boy's Songs, Causing Tears

In a recounting by Leon Photography, it was revealed that in 2012, Burna Boy, then an aspiring artist, sought a collaboration with established musician Duncan Mighty. Leon took Burna Boy to Duncan Mighty’s house to secure a guest verse.

However, the meeting did not go as planned, as Duncan Mighty listened to Burna Boy's unreleased songs and deemed them unsatisfactory, refusing to collaborate. This rejection was reportedly devastating for Burna Boy, who cried during the drive home in his mother’s Honda.

Despite this setback, Burna Boy expressed optimism, stating that one day Duncan Mighty would be the one seeking him out for a feature. Years later, Burna Boy achieved global superstardom, fulfilling his ambition despite the initial disappointment.
