Dwell less on politics, concentrate on economic expansion — Ex Ohanaeze Spokesman tells Ndigbo

Former Spokesman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chuks Ibegbu, advised the Igbo community to focus less on politics and instead invest in business and technological expansion for economic growth. Speaking at a seminar on human capital development in Umuahia, Abia State, Ibegbu urged Ndigbo to emulate the economic transformation of cities like Munich, Germany, and Catalonia, Spain.

He emphasized the need for the South East region to become a hub for commerce, technology, and production, urging investors and leaders to prioritize economic development over political issues. Ibegbu praised the success of Nnewi in becoming a global marketplace and called for this model to be replicated across Igbo land.

The Akurulo Movement's Director General also encouraged support for Igbo communities worldwide through a sensitization drive.
