Moghalu Loses Polling Unit to Soludo in Anambra Guber Election

In the ongoing Anambra governorship election, George Moghalu of the Labour Party suffered an early setback by losing his polling unit to Chukwuma Soludo of APGA. Preliminary results from Polling Unit 017 in Uruagu Ward 1, Nnewi North LGA, showed Soludo leading with 57 votes compared to Moghalu's 22 votes.

The low voter turnout was attributed to voter apathy and logistical challenges. INEC officials confirmed a largely peaceful voting process.

The trend indicates Soludo consolidating support across Nnewi North, traditionally considered a Labour Party stronghold.
