Ebonyi ADC Ratifies Silas Onu's Suspension for Misconduct

On April 25, 2026, the Ebonyi State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ratified the suspension of Silas Onu, who had previously been suspended from the Obiozara Ward due to allegations of anti-party activities, gross misconduct, and falsification of party structure. The suspension was confirmed during a meeting at the party's secretariat along the Old Abakaliki-Enugu Road, led by Comrade Chukwudi Mgboroko, the party's secretary.

The motion to ratify the suspension was moved by Bassei Imok and seconded by Vincent Ez, with unanimous adoption by the members present. Dr.

Mr. Jennif Adib Nwafor, the chairman of the Ebonyi State ADC, emphasized that Onu's actions had brought significant disrepute to the party at the national level.

The suspension will last for three months, pending a review by the disciplinary committee, during which Onu is barred from participating in any party activities or representing the party in any capacity.
