Ebonyi Govt Raises Minimum Wage to ₦90,000, Clears Pension Arrears

The Ebonyi State Government has announced an increase in the minimum wage from ₦70,000 to ₦90,000 for workers in the state. This decision was reached during a State Executive Council meeting and is effective immediately.

The wage increase is part of the government's efforts to improve the welfare of employees and clear pension arrears dating back to 1996. The government also discussed the implementation of a tenure policy for directors to ensure efficient service delivery.
