ECOWAS Launches Recruitment for West African Citizens

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has opened recruitment for qualified citizens from its 12 member states, which include Benin, Cape Verde, Côte d'Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo. The recruitment covers a range of professional and administrative roles within ECOWAS's specialized agencies, such as the Community Court of Justice, ECOWAS Parliament, West African Health Organisation (WAHO), and the Intergovernmental Action Group against Money Laundering (GIABA).

Interested candidates must submit a completed job application form, a curriculum vitae, and a cover letter via email before the specified deadlines. Age limits vary by job category: candidates for general services (G1 to G7) must be under 35, professional roles (P1 to P7) under 45, and director-level positions (D1 to D2) under 50.

ECOWAS encourages women to apply and warns that it does not charge recruitment fees.
