Edo Assembly Member Uzamer Seeks Re-Election with Scorecard

Andrew Uzamer, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly representing the Ovia North East constituency, presented his scorecard on Friday, seeking re-election. He emphasized the importance of the support he has received over the years, which has enabled him to bring democratic dividends to his constituents.

Uzamer, who serves on the education committee, noted his contributions, including the provision of scholarships for 500 indigent students across public secondary schools in the constituency, the sinking of 15 boreholes, and the renovation of nine schools with modern toilet facilities. He also mentioned a solar electrification project that would not have been possible without the opportunity to serve.

Uzamer expressed gratitude to Governor Monday Okpebholo and reaffirmed his commitment to his constituents, promising to mobilize 2.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu. Former member Bright Osayand commended Uzamer's humility and consistent efforts, while other political figures encouraged support for Uzamer's re-election bid.
