Edun Urges Banks to Boost SME Credit Access at CIBN Event in Lagos

At an event in Lagos, Edun called on banks to increase credit access for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), lauding the Central Bank of Nigeria's efforts in stabilizing monetary policies. The Institute of Bankers Nigeria (CIBN) held the event at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Cultural Arts, where banking professionals like Emem Usoro and Bala Bello were honored.

The Minister emphasized the need to expand financial access for young people to support SME growth in Nigeria. Olayemi Cardoso praised the government's economic rescue efforts, while Olivier Alawuba highlighted the importance of trust in banking services.
