EFCC Denies Political Bias, Counters Bauchi Governor's Claims

The EFCC's Director of Public Affairs, Wilson Uwujaren, clarified that the commission operates independently and neutrally, refuting claims of political interference.

Uwujaren highlighted that the EFCC does not receive instructions from political office holders and warned against undermining public confidence in the agency. Governor Mohammed had accused the EFCC of targeting him for political reasons, which the commission vehemently denies.
