EFCC Probes Nigerian Rapper Oladips Over ₦10 Million Extortion Allegation

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has launched an investigation into Nigerian rapper Oladips, real name Oladipupo Oladimeji, following an allegation of extorting ₦10 million. Oladips was arrested in November 2024 during a midnight raid but was released after five days in detention.

The EFCC stated that nothing incriminating was found during their investigation and expressed dissatisfaction with the extortion claim. The agency has summoned the officials involved in the case to its headquarters pending the conclusion of the investigation.
