EFCC Collaborates with Media and CSOs to Combat Cybercrime

The EFCC is set to strengthen partnerships with media and civil society organizations to tackle economic and financial crimes, particularly cybercrimes and cryptocurrency fraud. The EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, emphasized the importance of collective efforts in fighting corruption and financial misconduct.

The workshop held in Kano aimed to educate participants on emerging financial crimes like cryptocurrency-related fraud and cyber-enabled offenses. Representatives from NUJ and various CSOs attended the event to promote a citizen-driven approach to combat corruption.
