Tragic Road Accident Claims Lives of Mother and Baby in Lagos

In a tragic incident on Ikorodu Road in Lagos, an eight-month-old baby and a mother lost their lives in a road accident involving a commercial bus. The crash occurred opposite Anthony Obanikoro's house on a Sunday, resulting in injuries to ten other passengers.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed the accident, attributing it to the bus's excessive speed and loss of control. General Manager Olalekan Bakare Oki expressed condolences and urged motorists to observe speed limits and maintain roadworthy vehicles.

This incident adds to the ongoing concerns about road safety in Lagos.
