APC Gears Up for Ekiti Governorship Election Screening Process

Ahead of the Ekiti State governorship election, the APC Screening Committee, led by Hon Tunji Olawuyi, is preparing for the October 27 primary. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled the election for July 20, 2026.

Governor Oyebanji commended the APC for its structured approach to the screening process, ensuring fairness and transparency. The governor emphasized the importance of supporting the chosen candidate to maintain party unity and credibility.

The screening exercise, which began in Abuja, will conclude after all four aspirants have been vetted, with the goal of selecting a strong contender for the governorship race.
