ADC Aspirant in Ekiti Warns Voters Against Deceptive Gifts During Elections

Ayodel David Adesua, an aspirant of the African Democrat Congress (ADC) in Ekiti State, cautioned voters in Ijesa Isu against falling for rice and cash gifts from politicians during elections. He emphasized the need for electorates to choose leaders based on merit to avoid incompetent governance and lack of development.

Adesua declared his intention to contest for the ADC governorship ticket, urging people to prioritize voting for capable leaders. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled the party primaries for June 20, 2026.
