William Ekong Set to Join Al Ahli Qatar Until 2028 - Transfer Expert Reports

Nigerian footballer William Ekong, a former Super Eagles captain, is on the verge of completing a transfer to Al Ahli in Qatar, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The deal will see Ekong signing a contract with the Qatari side until June 2028, with an option for an additional year.

Ekong, who previously played for Watford, decided to focus on his club career after retiring from international duty with Nigeria following the 2025 AFCON tournament.
