Nasir El-Rufai Joins ADC After Criticizing APC Leadership

Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has officially joined the African Democrat Congress (ADC) after leaving the Progress Congress (APC) and Social Democrat Party (SDP). El-Rufai, accompanied by supporters, collected his membership card at the ADC office in Kaduna State.

He expressed his commitment to working with the party's leadership to dislodge Governor Uba Sani in the 2027 elections. El-Rufai criticized the APC leadership, particularly President Bola Tinubu's administration, for what he described as double standards.

He cited disagreements over open coalitions and compromises. El-Rufai now aligns with the ADC, agreeing to the party's terms and conditions.
