El-Rufai Reacts As Kaduna SDP Merges Into ADC

The recent merger of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) into the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kaduna has been described as a significant realignment in the state's political landscape. The formalized coalition was announced after a meeting convened on Saturday, bringing together key political leaders from across party lines.

Former Governor El-Rufai hailed the decision as a bold step towards building a formidable front for future elections, emphasizing the importance of collective interests over personal ambitions. The ADC Vice Chairman for the North West, Ja'afar Mohammed Sani, commended the SDP leadership for prioritizing the people and choosing a broader political platform.

The ADC State Chairman assured the defectors of full integration into the party structure, with plans for a constitution Membership Registration Committee to begin fresh membership registration and revalidation across Kaduna State. This exercise aims to strengthen the ADC's grassroots base and ensure organizational readiness for upcoming elections.
