El-Rufai Given 72-Hour Deadline to Prove Allegations Against NSA Amid Criticism

The NCSCN demanded El-Rufai substantiate his claims within 72 hours, warning that such allegations could erode public trust and security gains.

The council emphasized the importance of strategic dialogue and combining traditional and military approaches to combat insecurity. They urged continued efforts to rescue victims of terrorism and kidnapping, highlighting the value of every Nigerian life.

The NCSCN recommended the creation of a Civil Space Engagement Unit within the NSA office staffed by civil society activists to enhance security information dissemination.
