Nwagwu Emphasizes Beyond Electronic Transmission for Electoral Reform

Ezenwa Nwagwu, the Executive Director of Peer Advocacy Advancement Center for Africa, highlighted the significance of not solely relying on electronic transmission of election results for electoral reform during an interview on Arise Television. He stressed that citizen engagement, expansion of democratic space, and laws to enhance transparency are crucial.

Nwagwu noted that while electronic transmission of results is essential, it is not sufficient without measures like electronic collation of results to prevent malpractice. He urged for a more comprehensive approach to electoral reform to address citizens' concerns and promote good governance.
