Emirates Resumes Flights to Dubai After Suspension

Emirates Airlines announced the resumption of flights to and from Dubai after previously suspending operations on Saturday due to security concerns. The airline advised passengers to monitor developments and check their flight status before heading to the airport.

Emirates confirmed that flights would operate from Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC), with a partial resumption of operations noted on March 7. The airline emphasized that passengers should not travel to the airport unless their flight is confirmed.

The temporary suspension affected operations from March 2 to March 5, during which approximately 500 flights departed, providing over 105,000 outbound seats to 80 countries. The disruptions were attributed to rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, particularly following hostilities involving Israel, the United States, and Iran.

Despite the resumption, overall flight activity in the region remains below normal levels as Emirates continues to monitor the situation closely.
