Enugu Governor Peter Mbah Defects to APC, Cites New Direction and Alignment

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has officially defected from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). During a live broadcast at the Government House in Enugu, Mbah announced his decision, stating the need for a new direction and alignment with the political platform and values of Enugu State.

He commended President Bola Tinubu's leadership and reform initiatives, expressing his support for the APC's agenda. The defection involved key members of the state and national assemblies, as well as 80% of former PDP structures in Enugu State.
