Enyimba Breaks Losing Streak with Draw Against Pillars

Enyimba Football Club ended their four-match losing streak in the Nigeria Premier Football League by holding Kano Pillars to a goalless draw at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano. This match took place on Sunday, marking Enyimba's first point of the 2026/27 campaign after a challenging start that left them at the bottom of the league table.

Prior to this match, Enyimba suffered a 3-2 defeat to Sporting Lagos, which extended their losing streak. They also faced a 1-0 defeat against Inter Lagos, both losses coming against newly-promoted teams.

In the match against Kano Pillars, Enyimba managed to keep a clean sheet against a team that had scored 10 goals in their first four league matches. Despite showing improved defensive resilience, Enyimba's inability to secure a victory means they are still in search of their first win of the season.

They will next face Shooting Stars at home on Wednesday.
