Enyimba Hosts Plateau United in Key NPFL Clash Today
Enyimba will host Plateau United in an NPFL Matchday 7 clash at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba on October 4. Enyimba, currently in 19th place with four points, is looking to build on their recent 4-2 victory over Shooting Stars, which ended a challenging start to their season.
They have only won once in their first six matches. In contrast, Plateau United, managed by Gbenga Ogunbote, is enjoying a strong season, sitting in fourth place with 11 points and an unbeaten run in their last five matches.
Plateau United's recent performance includes three wins and two draws, notably a comeback 2-2 draw against Doma United and a 2-0 victory over Inter Lagos. The last two encounters between the teams resulted in one win each, with Plateau United winning 2-1 in Jos in October 2025 and Enyimba winning 2-0 in Aba in March 2026.
Both teams have significant stakes in this match, promising a competitive encounter.
