Enzo Maresca Praises Manchester City After Liverpool Win
Enzo Maresca, the manager of Manchester City, commended his players following their 3-0 victory against Liverpool at Anfield. This match was significant as it was City's first fixture after an independent commission ruled them guilty of 114 out of 115 charges.
The breakthrough came in the second half, with Jeremy Doku and Rayan Cherki scoring additional goals to secure a commanding away win. Maresca acknowledged the challenging backdrop of the game but expressed pride in his players' performance on the pitch.
The victory provides Manchester City with crucial momentum as they prepare for their upcoming home match against Paris Saint-Germain, the reigning European champions.
