Arsenal to Make Arteta One of Football's Highest-Paid Managers

Arsenal is preparing to offer Mikel Arteta a new contract that would position him among the highest-paid managers in football. Currently, Arteta's deal, which is set to expire next summer, is being discussed for an extension that would significantly increase his salary from approximately £10 million per year to around £15 million.

This potential pay hike would place him close to Diego Simeone, who is currently the highest-paid manager at Atletico Madrid, earning £26 million annually. Additionally, Pep Guardiola of Manchester City earns about £20 million per year.

Arteta, who led Arsenal to their first league title in 22 years, is expected to become the longest-serving manager in the Premier League when Guardiola departs Manchester City in the summer.
