Following Arsenal's 1-0 win against Newcastle on Saturday, Mikel Arteta, the current manager of Arsenal, confirmed that both Kai Havertz and Eberechi Eze picked up minor injuries during the match. Havertz, who scored a goal in the ninth minute, left the field in the first half to receive treatment for a knee issue.

He was replaced by Viktor Gyökeres. Eze was substituted in the second half due to a small niggle.

Arteta stated that he does not know the extent of the injuries but expects to have more information by the following day. The recovery timelines for both players are uncertain, particularly as Arsenal prepares to travel for a Champions League match against Atletico Madrid midweek.
