EPL: ‘At Man United, time is expensive’ – Evra issues sack warning to Amorim

Manchester United legend Patrice Evra has issued a warning to club boss Ruben Amorim, stating that "time is expensive" at Old Trafford. Evra highlighted the constant managerial changes at the club since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson, with five permanent managers and four interim bosses in the past nine years.

He compared the situation to having multiple chefs preparing soup, where consistency is key. Evra emphasized the importance of giving time to a manager to build a team and achieve success, pointing out that Manchester United sacked Erik ten Hag to appoint Amorim in November 2024.

Amorim's first season saw the team finish 15th in the Premier League and lose the UEFA Europa League final. Evra's warning comes amidst calls for the club to prioritize consistency and trust in the manager, with England international Marcus Rashford also advising Manchester United to follow the example of rivals Manchester City and Liverpool in this regard.
