Palmer had an impressive tally of 42 goal involvements, including 18 goals last season, which helped Chelsea qualify for the UEFA Champions League and win the Club World Cup. However, he has struggled to regain his peak form, raising concerns about his position in Thomas Tuchel's squad ahead of the upcoming World Cup.

Reports indicate that Palmer currently feels unsettled at Chelsea, and Townsend mentioned that the club is in constant movement, which may lead to Palmer deciding to leave.
