Donnarumma Opens Up on Rejecting Man United After City's Win

Gianluigi Donnarumma, Manchester City's goalkeeper, revealed that former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel tried to convince him to join United instead of City after City's 3-0 win over United. Donnarumma, who joined City from PSG for a record fee, expressed his happiness with City's performance.

Schmeichel, on the other hand, questioned Donnarumma's decision to snub United. United, currently struggling in the Premier League, suffered a defeat against City with goals from Phil Foden and Erling Haaland.

Donnarumma explained that he always wanted to play for United but chose City instead. The Red Devils are currently 14th in the Premier League table with only one win in four matches.
