Bruno Fernandes Breaks Beckham's Assist Record at Man Utd

Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, has officially overtaken David Beckham's record for assists in Premier League matches. This milestone was achieved during a match against Crystal Palace on a Sunday, where Fernandes scored a goal and assisted Benjamin Sesko, leading to a 3-0 victory for Manchester United at Old Trafford.

According to Opta, Fernandes has now recorded 18 assists in 18 different Premier League matches, surpassing Beckham's total of 17 assists. He now trails only Wayne Rooney, who has 35 assists, and Ryan Giggs, who has 22 assists.

Fernandes aims to continue his impressive performance as Manchester United prepares to face Newcastle next Wednesday.
